Sports is my favorite past time. I was told by many people that I shined in all sports. Baseball was my “first love”. I tried out for the Chicago Cubs when I was 19. I tried out with another pro franchise the Atlanta Braves when I turned 24. By this time, my daughter now herself is 24; was born. I did not want to be on the road and missing out on my daughter’s life. So, I made the decision to gladly lay down the game of baseball. I sometimes reflect with a smile, sliding into bases and hitt’n homeruns.
